Free2Grow's Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Free2Grow (“Free2Grow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website at www.free-2-grow.com (the “Site”) and our AI-powered customer service platform, including our AI Voice CSR, Speed2Lead, Outbound, Webchat, and CSR Assist products and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Site or Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Who This Policy Covers
Our Services are provided to home-service businesses (our “Clients”). This Policy applies to three groups:
- Website visitors — who browse our Site, request a demo, or contact us.
- Client users — authorized personnel of businesses that subscribe to our Services.
- End callers — the customers, leads, and callers of our Clients whose information is processed through the Services (for example, a homeowner who calls a Client and speaks with our AI Voice CSR).
For End caller information processed on behalf of a Client, the Client is generally the “controller” or “business” that determines why the data is used, and Free2Grow acts as a “processor” or “service provider.” In those cases, the Client’s own privacy notice governs, and End callers should direct privacy requests to the relevant Client. We assist our Clients in responding to such requests.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Contact and demo details — name, business name, email address, phone number, and message content when you complete a form, book a demo, or contact us.
- Account and billing information — billing contact, plan tier, number of technicians, and payment-related information processed by our payment providers.
- Configuration data — call flow scripts, business hours, service offerings, escalation rules, and other configuration details you provide during onboarding.
2.2 Information We Collect Through the Services
- Call recordings and transcripts — audio recordings of inbound and outbound calls handled by our AI, together with machine-generated transcripts.
- Caller and lead details — caller phone number, name, service address, appointment details, and the substance of the caller’s request.
- Messaging content — content of webchat conversations and outbound SMS/text and voice campaigns, including delivery and response data.
- Performance and usage data — call outcomes, booking rates, close rates, agent and CSR performance metrics, and related analytics.
2.3 Information From Integrated and Third-Party Sources
With a Client’s authorization, we exchange data with third-party platforms the Client uses, including CRM and field-management systems (such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, FieldPulse, and FieldEdge) and lead sources (such as Angi, Yelp, Google, and Facebook). This may include customer records, job and appointment data, and lead details necessary to book jobs and follow up.
2.4 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar technical data collected via cookies, tags, and analytics tools (including Google Tag Manager) on our Site.
3. AI Interaction Disclosure
Several of our Services use artificial intelligence to conduct automated voice and text conversations. When an End caller interacts with the AI Voice CSR or Webchat, they are communicating with an automated system rather than a live human agent, subject to escalation rules that may transfer the interaction to a human. Free2Grow supports, and expects Clients to provide, appropriate disclosure to End callers that they are interacting with an AI system where required by applicable law. Audio and transcript data may be used to operate, evaluate, and improve the AI’s performance as described in Section 4.
4. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including answering calls, booking appointments, running outbound campaigns, and syncing data with Client CRMs.
- To transcribe, analyze, and score calls and to generate performance reporting for Clients (for example, CSR Assist analytics).
- To train, tune, and improve the accuracy and quality of our AI models and Services. This includes using call recordings, transcripts, and messaging content — including content from interactions with End callers — to improve the AI models that power the Services for Free2Grow and its Clients generally. Where practicable, we use de-identified or aggregated data for this purpose.
- To respond to inquiries, schedule demos, provide onboarding and support, and communicate about the Services.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and administer accounts.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
- For marketing our own Services to Clients and prospects, consistent with applicable law and opt-out rights.
5. Call Recording and Consent
Our Services record and transcribe telephone calls. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction: some U.S. states require the consent of only one party to a call, while others require the consent of all parties. Because calls are placed and received across many states, our Clients are responsible for determining and meeting the consent requirements applicable to their calls, including providing any required recording notices or verbal disclosures at the start of a call. Free2Grow provides configurable disclosure prompts to support compliance, but Clients remain responsible for lawful use of recording features. Where Free2Grow records calls to its own business (for example, our demo line), we provide notice as required by law.
6. Outbound Calls, Texts, and TCPA Compliance
Our Outbound and Speed2Lead products place automated calls and send text messages on behalf of Clients. These communications are subject to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule, and similar laws. Clients are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any legally required consent from recipients before outbound calls or texts are sent, for honoring do-not-call and opt-out requests, and for complying with applicable calling-time and identification rules. Recipients of text messages may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and may reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Free2Grow processes opt-out requests it receives and passes them to the relevant Client, but Clients remain responsible for suppression across their systems.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only as needed to operate the Services and as described below:
- Service providers — who process data on our behalf under contract (for example, cloud hosting, telephony and SMS carriers, speech-to-text and AI infrastructure, analytics, and payment processors).
- Clients and their integrations — the Client on whose behalf we process End-caller data, and the CRM, field-management, and lead platforms the Client directs us to integrate with.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Free2Grow, our Clients, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Our Site uses analytics and advertising cookies and pixels (such as those provided by Google and Meta) that share online identifiers and browsing activity with these partners. Under California and certain other state privacy laws, this activity may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and in some cases a “sale.” You can opt out as described in Section 8 (Cookies) and Section 11 (Your Privacy Rights).
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies in three broad categories: (1) essential cookies needed to operate the Site; (2) analytics cookies, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, that help us measure traffic and understand how visitors use our pages; and (3) advertising and targeting cookies and pixels (such as Google and Meta) that help us and our partners deliver and measure ads across other sites and services. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where presented, through our cookie banner; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Data processed on behalf of a Client is also subject to that Client’s instructions and our agreement with the Client. Our standard retention periods are:
| Data Type | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Call audio recordings | Up to 12 months, after which the audio is deleted (a transcript may be retained). |
| Call transcripts and call metadata (number, timestamp, outcome) | Up to 4 years, to support quality assurance and to respond to any dispute within the applicable limitations period. |
| Consent, opt-out, and do-not-call / suppression records | Retained as long as necessary to honor opt-out and do-not-call obligations, which may be indefinite. |
| Caller and lead personal information synced to a Client’s CRM | Per the Client’s instructions, deleted or returned within 30–90 days after termination of the Client’s agreement, unless a longer period is required by law. |
| Account and billing records | Up to 7 years, to meet tax, accounting, and audit requirements. |
| Website analytics and cookie data | Up to 14 months. |
We may retain information longer where required to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
10. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Privacy Rights
11.1 U.S. State Privacy Rights (including California)
California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Because our Site uses advertising cookies and pixels, we may “share” personal information (such as online identifiers and browsing activity) for targeted advertising, which may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws. You can opt out by adjusting your cookie preferences, by broadcasting a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, or by contacting us at the address in Section 16. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.
11.2 EU/UK Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability, subject to applicable law. Where we process personal data as a processor for a Client, we will assist that Client in responding to your request. Our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
11.3 How to Exercise Your Rights
To make a request, contact us at Nate@free-2-grow.com. If your request concerns data we process on behalf of a Client, we will refer you to, or coordinate with, that Client. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within applicable timeframes. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site and Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and platforms that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site or Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
